Apparently, Luke Skywalker will be in charge of teaching Re how to walk the Jedi walk. Over the past two months, fans have been gobbling up leaked information about the upcoming movie. Thank you, Volkswagen! But we haven't forgotten the Landspeeder, a symbol of its era that will make a comeback in Episode 8. That hasn't happened, and instead automakers are giving us skinny tires and vehicles that ruin the environment even further. Many decades ago, we all thought that one day, when Earth would turn into a desert, we'd all by cruising in our wheelless convertible car with three jet turbines, and two wanted droids in the back seats. The closest thing we have to a car is the Landspeeder. There won't be any shots of Vin Diesel shifting into 14th gear or of Batman turning his car into an airplane. Since nothing in the Star Wars universe has wheels, maybe with the exception of R2-D2, we can't report on the cars they're using.
